The Department of Agriculture Forestry Animal Resources Has been stablishing with presidential order for Abyei Special Administration Area.
The objective of Stablish the Department as following: –
- To improve food security in Area
- increases income through Agriculture, forest production, Animal production, Fisheries

Department of Agriculture &, Forestry, Animal Resources and Fisheries it is divided to four Department as following: –
Agriculture Department have Seven Units:
- Agronomy (Crop Protection) Unit
- Agricultural Engineering Unit
- Plant protection Unit
- Horticulture Unit
- Extension Unit
- Soil Unit
- Cooperative and Rural Development Unit
