THE DEPUTY CHIEF ADMINISTRATOR RETURNS TO ABYEI FOLLOWING AN OFFICIAL MISSION TO JUBA:
Abyei, Monday, January 5th, 2026:
Earlier today, Hon. Brig. Gen. Arop Deng Kuol, the Deputy Chief Administrator of the Abyei Special Administrative Area, made his return to the area subsequent to a two-week official engagement in the capital city of Juba, where he addressed several critical matters.
Upon his arrival this morning at Agok Airstrip in Rumamer County of the Abyei Special Administrative Area, he was warmly welcomed by Hon. Maulana Kuol Agang Dau, Minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement, alongside Hon. Yohana Akol Ngor, Minister of Information, Culture, Youth and Sport, and Hon. Chol Pur Chol, Chairman of the Security Committee of the Legislative Council for the Abyei Area.
It is noteworthy to mention that Hon. Brig. Gen. Arop Deng Kuol’s official mission to the national capital was aimed at addressing a multitude of significant issues and files, culminating in a successful visit before his return to the area.
