MINISTER OF INFORMATION STATEMENT ON THE RECEPTION OF MEMORANDUM THAT CALLS FOR THE OFFICIAL RECOGNITION OF 2013 ABYEI REFERENDUM OUTCOMES.
Abyei- On Thursday, 31st October, 2024, Hon. Bulis Koch Aguar, the Minister of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports held press briefing to inform the media that the government of Abyei Special Administrative Area received on Thursday 31st October, 2024, memorandum from the Abyei Civil Society Organizations that calls on the National government to officially recognize the outcomes of the 2013 Community Referendum results.
The Minister further informed the media that the memorandum received will be shared with the National government for Action.
